Future Career

Today I observed for a teacher at a high school where I may be student teaching at next semester. Even though it was the first time I had observed her, I can tell that I'm really going to enjoy her class. She seems like a really nice person, and a very organized, helpful teacher. I'm so excited about being a teacher!! I kept thinking about how I would organize my class, or teach a lesson. I can't believe I'm about to graduate and do what I love! :)

I read this really great YA book recently called The Amulet of Samarkand. It was probably the best book I've read this year. I'm glad it's a trilogy, because I couldn't get enought of the first one! And it's even coming out on film next year! Tomorrow I'm checking the 2nd book out at the library.

Today is the first day of October, and unlike the first days of October in KY, it actually felt like Fall! It was chilly, but comfortable in a sweater. I also noticed the leaves are beginning to change and the wind is blowing some of them off. I love this time of year. I just wish I had more time to be outside and enjoy it, than being stuck in an office all day. Atleast I can enjoy the walk back to my apartment.

I can't wait to get a hug and kiss from my red-headed cutie! :)
